Hello!
I'm having a problem with PIMPHONY 6.7 Build 2960 + Windows 8.1 64
The program does not show the name / number on the display panel.
Shows only "***"
I tried to reinstall and update. Net Framework, change the extension, reinstall the program, remove antivirus (Trend), disable Firewall, but none of the options worked.
I need help.
Thank you very much.

Simple question. Does release notes indicate Windows 8 is supported? Just check that please

Same user on a different OS does show the number correctly?

Yes.
I changed the user's computer.
On the old computer (Windows XP), the same user works.
I checked the "log.db" of user. Only the table "name" shows "***", the other tables show data correctly (date, number2, State, InOut, Info, Ext1, Ext3).

What name/number are you talking about?
Internal or external calls?
When you receive an external call without CLIP, PIM Phony shows "***".

the problem happens on internal and external calls.
When I try to make calls, the numbers don't appear.
I had a other Windows 8 that worked. After I updated to Windows 8.1, came the same problem.
sorry, but what is the CLIP?
* I'm still learning
Thanks

So I have to ask again... Is windows 8 is not the same as 8.1 so are you 100% sure it is supported?
CLIP is the line identification. So the caller number on your sets. But wouldn't affect internal calls... So there is why I guess is an application issue bases on the OS

Sorry Cavagnaro,
I had checked and confirmed support only for the Windows 8 (32 and 64).
Because my test system was Windows 8.
On the user's computer, the OS is Windows 8.1
I checked again the documentation,
does not mention exactly Windows 8.1
But, is there a version with 100% support to Windows 8.1?
Or maybe an alternative software?
Thanks
